How to identify recycled ABS particles? ABS plastics are generally granular. How can we identify ABS regenerated particles? I would like to share with you the following:

  1. Color: transparent is better than opaque, no matter what color it is.

  2. Luster: the brighter the better, its luster is the material itself, just like the skin color of people, is the color of recycled material surface.

  3. Smell: ignite with a lighter and blow out after 3 seconds. Smell the smoke and identify the difference between it and the new ABS. Note that the color powder with color has a greater smell, which will cover up part of the smell of ABS regenerated particles. Don't worry, there are other ways.

  4. Wire drawing: after blowing out the fire, iron metal is used to quickly contact the melt body, and then it is quickly opened to see whether the wire is uniform in shape, which is good material. After several times of drawing, the wire is overlapped and pulled again to see if it has elasticity. If it can be opened again and continuously, if it is not broken or broken after a certain distance, it is good material.

  5. If the above can not be confirmed, please use the fire again. In the process of burning, black smoke will be emitted or the melt will drop rapidly. It is not a good material.

  6. Bite with teeth: first experience the strength of new ABS regenerated particles, and then compare it. If it is relatively soft, ABS is added inside absolutely.

  7. Look at the section of the incision: the section is rough and dry without luster, and the material quality is poor.
